Hello all and welcome to another year =)
We have been thinking for a fair while now about having a TUB in Newcastle and think that now is as good a time as any to start..
What does NTUB stand for?
It can either stand for Newcastle tweet up brigade orwe have heard to TUBs being called twitter underground brigade.
Why?
Well Newcastle does have Newcastle coffee mornings and Ncastlepubcrawl and now NTUB will just be another way that Newcastle tweeps and meet up and such =)
How is it different?
The difference of NTUB is that unlike Ncastlepubcrawl it is held in one place and unlike Newcastle Coffee Mornings it is held at night… there are also name badges involved (that have your twitter name on them) =)
Why are you lazy and haven’t created an NTUB twitter?
Hey hold up there!
The reason that the NTUB crew and using the resources of ncastlepubcrawl is because when we when to start the twitter the following @’s were taken… NTUB, Newtub, NcastleTUB and so on. We would make a new wordpress but lets just take this slow.
Alright where is it?
The team here at NTUB were thinking that Wests Leagues club would be a great place as it is well known and does have a few places that people can escape to chocolate bar
When?
Not sure!! please reply to @ncastlepubcrawl with the saturday nights that you are free in January and February and the top three will be chosen to battle it out.
Anything else?
We have known TUBs to be sponsored this is not something that we are currently on the look out for but is something to keep in mind for the future.. Also if you would like to join the friendly NTUB team you are more than welcome… please DM @heidiheartshugs

Hi All!! It has been a while eh?
On the 12th of December there will be another gathering of the best people around.. The newcastle twitter crowd!
So currently the plans stand as meeting at the Oriental hotel Cooks Hill (61 Bull st Cooks Hill) for the free comedy show that runs there on Saturday nights and we can decide what to do from there!
The show starts at 830 so in the interest of getting seats meeting around 8 would be great!!

Hi Hi and welcome to @ncastlepubcrawl‘s blog =)
The birth of the crawl came from watching longingly at the tweets made by @melbpubcrawl and the tweeters that attentedv1.0 eailier this year.
Upon discovering that Melbourne was again going to participate in yet another event the Novocastrian member of the #hashtagrebelalliance had to spring into action and so spawned the Newcastle leg of the pub crawl. So this will be an extra special pub crawl as it shall be a #synchronisedpubcrawl and the first for Newcastle, NSW.
After seeing the success of @melbpubcrawl and the system that they used we have decided to more or less copy the way that they work things, so we will have a starting point and from then on decided where to go depending on the people that are out and about. Described as playing Marco Polo via twitter while out.
After a convocation with @OzAz during #newcastlecoffee the thought occurred that starting at The Dockyard at 1830 for dinner and drinks then working our way down Honeysuckle would be a great start!
So what to do now?

The night should be an experience to say the least =D Lets show Melbourne that they are not the only one who know how to have a pub crawl!!
